…to help with the Summer Picnic and Student Send Off this summer!

We are looking for volunteers for the Student Send Off & Summer Picnic!!

We need your help to make the Student-Send Off & Summer Picnic a success. Below is a link to different stations that we need coordinated for the event. We have broken the picnic down into easy, manageable sections so that no one is bearing the entire heft of the event this year.

We also need volunteers to grill, scoop ice cream, help set up &/or clean up, & sell raffle tickets

This is one of our key events for the year, SUPER FUN and part of keeping our chapter at Elms status! We do hope to have increased member participation.

The semester may be winding down, but Penn State students are still hard at work. This week is one of the Blue & White Society’s signature (and largest) events at University Park – PS i heart U Week. This spirit week is a celebration of all the reasons Dear Old State is the best, and the students have worked incredibly hard to make this year’s event bigger and better than ever.

There are two ways you can participate. Download this poster poster, and it will allow you to participate no matter where you are. All you need to do is print out the poster, write on the front why you love Penn State, have someone take your photo or snap a selfie, then post it to social media using the hashtag #PSiheartU17. Instructions can also be found on the back of the poster. Or, if you happen to be in State College at all during the week leading up to the Blue White Game, you may want to check out some of the on-campus events. Ways to Participate with the Chapter:

1. Join the Greater Binghamton Spiedies Team:

Early Registration Fee – $25
Late Registration Fee – after 3/31/2017 – $35
Student Rate – $20 up until event day (must show I.D.)
Child Rate – Free for children ages 8 and under – use discount code “Child”
Day of Registration Fees – $35

2. Virtual Runner/Walker (All Ages) – (Choose “Virtual Runner” in your participation type)

Early Registration thru March 31- $35 (includes cost of shipping t-shirt)

Note: Cut-off date for t-shirts to be mailed prior to event day is 3/31/17

Late Registration Begins April 1 – $40 (includes cost of shipping t-shirt)

Note: T-shirts will be mailed 3 weeks after the event 5/15/17

PSU vs Pitt football ticket pre-order due March 1, 2017

Pre-orders for the PSU vs Pitt game will begin now (2/9/17) through March 1, 2017

The chapter has decided to begin the pre-order process for PSU vs. Pitt football tickets beginning today

because we already know the following:

Ticket sales have increased dramatically since last season
Bringing back that PSU vs Pitt rivalry is exciting to many Penn Staters
Ticket sales and seats will go quickly

Pre-orders for the PSU vs Pitt game will end on March 1, 2017We cannot guarantee location, price or availability as this will all be determined by the university.

We do want to be prepared to submit our group order as we know the NLC will be accepting group orders around the first week of March.
